When is The Best Time to Visit Hong Kong?
The best time to visit Hong Kong is between October and December. It is a perfect autumn season where the weather is warm, breezy, and perfect for walking around the city. You can watch the gold, orange, and brown leaves falling from the trees and it just gives you a cozy warm vibe.
A Little Bit About The Culture
Hong Kong culture was created from the native Chinese with a mix of distinctive Western countries and the United Kingdom. During the time between 1841 to 1941, Hong Kong was colonized by the British, and that is when the early British Rule came in, and Hong Kong became westernized. 64% of the Hong Kong residents consider themselves so called "Hong Kongers," which indicated they have a strong personality and identity. English and Cantonese are their official language. Now Hong Kong is one of the world's wealthiest cities and it is best known for business and finance.
Entertaining Activities You Must Try
In Hong Kong, there are a decent amount of fun things to do. Did you know there is an indoor fishing shrimp farm place called HA Cube? Whatever you catch, you then enjoy a barbecue right away. This could be a short fun activity as an entertaining dining experience.
Consider spending one night at a transparent bubble-shaped tent. Hong Kong's Mingle Farm is a funky, unique farm where you could sleep in a bubble tent, bouncy castle, foldable house, or a caravan. It is located in Yuen Long, Hong Kong. You could fall asleep under the stars and around the forest.
You can visit many street markets to experience their local lifestyle and local food. Some of the unique street markets are Temple Street Night Market, Lascar Row, Hollywood Road, Seafood Street Market, Stanley Market, and many more. You can find unique goods from antique to the latest electronics.
Hong Kong Disneyland
Hong Kong Disneyland is located in Penny's Bay, Lantau Island. It is a family-friendly theme park with many thrilling rides and adventures. I mean, who doesn't love Disneyland that brings back to your childhood memory? Let's go!
If you go there, make sure to ride the Hyperspace Mountain which is the most thrilling ride at Hong Kong Disneyland. The Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars is not scary as the other ride; however, it has big twists, dips, reverse backward drops, and faux explosions that is exciting and fun.
One of the unique experiences you could only have in Hong Kong Disneyland is trying their cartoon-themed dim sum place called Crystal Lotus. They have tasty dishes followed by signature dim sum dishes resembling Disney and Pixar characters. I recommend making a reservation as early as possible because it is a full house most of the time.
You can watch the "Disney in the Stars" fireworks that happen above the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle at night. It truly is a breathtaking moment. Make sure to watch the "Paint the Night" parade that starts at 8:30 pm every night. Watch the Disney characters filling up the street with glowing light followed by fantastic performers.
Hong Kong is a distinctive place to visit where you could experience the mixed culture of the Western and Asian. From gorgeous sightseeing of the city to glowing nightlife followed by amazing local street food. You will never forget the breathtaking view of Hong Kong's skyline that even gets more amazing at night. Plan your trip to Hong Kong and make some good memories in your life.
